I also was v having this problem on my “new refurbished” iPhone 12. I only had it for a day when I applied a relatively cheap but decent screen protector, not realizing it already had one on it. The new one I applied while going on fine did pull the one underneath up by adhering to the one underneath and caused these air bubbles. I was so nervous thinking I had messed up my screen. After not being able to smooth out these air bubbles I went to take it off the screen protector i applied and realized there was another already underneath. Now I obviously broke the seal on the one that came pre installed on my phone from the third party vendor and will be replacing it now. So as others have said, it’s possible you have a faulty screen protector with just air underneath it which obviously you can replace if that’s the problem. Obviously if it’s not a screen protector and in the glass itself it’s a take in for repair issue.

If it is not due to an incorrectly positioned screen protector, since your iPhone is covered by warranty, I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

(*) You can do it:
It's possible that the bubbles you're noticing at the bottom of your iPhone screen are a result of a poorly installed screen protector by a third-party vendor. When the screen protector isn't applied correctly, air bubbles can form, particularly around the edges or corners of the device. This occurs when the protector doesn't adhere smoothly to the screen, leaving pockets of trapped air that manifest as those bubbles. These bubbles not only compromise the aesthetics but may also interfere with the touchscreen's responsiveness and clarity of display. If you're experiencing this issue, it might be worth considering reapplying the screen protector carefully or seeking assistance from a professional to ensure a smoother and bubble-free installation.
If you can’t get them out by smoothing over the glass protector with a credit card or something similar, you might have to apply a new screen protector. The best ones I’ve found are by far amFilm One Touch. They are very reasonably priced and super easy to install, but if by chance you do mess it up they will send you a replacement screen free!
