fraudulant apps on App store

Has anyone experienced fraud from app developers on App Store? I downloaded 2 apps, “V380” and V380 pro” that were required to connect and control a new camera I bought. It asked for my creditcard to verify my account. As soon as I entered my info, multiple charges started appearing on my CC from different locations and different amounts. My bank called and they previously identified them as scammers.

The two apps are free. You usually need to add a functioning payment method to your account. Even to re-download or update apps and for free apps.

It doesn't sound like the apps are the cause of these bogus charges, it appears that your Apple ID has perhaps been hacked giving the hackers access to your bank account. I suggest changing the password for your Apple ID if you still can.

Charges through Apple for content appear as apple.com/bill, on your bank statement. If the charges are something else, they aren't through Apple
