Netflix app no longer working

whenever I launch the Netflix app, I get this message:

”Sorry, we had trouble logging you in. Sometimes wrong. Please try again later”


I’ve restarted AppleTV, I’ve restarted my network. I’ve also deleted and reinstalled the Netflix app. Additionally, I’ve confirmed that I CAN log in to Netflix on other devices (same network, same Netflix account, same credentials).


any suggestions?

Update your Apple TV system software to the current version, if not done already. How to update your Apple TV - Apple Support


Try this for any misbehaving app:

  1. Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
  2. If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
  3. If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
  4. If the issue still persists after that, then contact the app developer for further assistance.


As you said to already have done step 3, step 1 and 2 can be ignored.
