Using Face ID on App Store

So I went and got an IPhone 12.

I set it all up and now it keeps asking me to type in my password when I have toggled the AppStore and iTunes in the Face ID section in settings I have read others reply’s and tried everything it still won’t let me use my Face ID my two kids got the same phone and while having other problems it has let them install apps using Face ID but I’m still struggling.

Did you resolved this? Me and ny girlfriedn bought new phones 2 days ago (15 Pro & Pro Max) my girlfriend FaceID works on app store but mine wont….
