Issue with microphone on iPhone 12

I am experiencing an intermittent microphone issue when using speaker phone on an Iphone 12. The sound on the person I am talking too breaks up all of the time. From what I have read on this forum that many others have a similar issue. Has anyone found a fix or has apple found a fix for this issue
