Apple TV 17.2, remote will not start episode

Since the latest update to 17.2, multiple times now, when I am in Up Next or inside an app and I press enter to on a selected episode, the show does not start. Backing out /navigating around works for everything else but I can't start a show. The only way I have found to get it working again is to restart my Apple TV box. It has happened two or three times now.

Extra information: When this happens, I try to back all the way out and the new side menu pops up. I can't back out any further and pressing enter on Home does not work when the problem is happening.

Fyi, I normally use a universal remote but when this has happened I pulled out the Apple Remote and that did not work either. It seems to be an issue with the Apple TV.
