Apple Pen (USB-C) won't pair with iPad (10th gen)

I am unable to pair the apple pen with the ipad with the usb-c to usb-c cable provided. I also tried to restart and retry, as well as turn on/off bluetooth and was unable to pair my apple pencil to my iPad.

Apple Pencil gen 2 not connecting to iPad Pro 4th gen I tried everything reset, restart, Bluetooth refresh, disconnected all app and update my software but still my iPad cannot detect my Apple Pencil. 1st generation pencil not pairing with 12.9” 6th generation iPad pro I bought the USB C to Lightning connection, the iPad says this device not supported. The pencil not in the Bluetooth list. I’ve restarted the iPad and the pencil is charged. Any ideas?

Your iPad 10 generation must iPadOS 17.1.1 or later installed.

You may want to check this out.
