Audio Books Come Without Table of Contents lol?

I just purchased my first audio book. Wtf is the table of contents? I just see a superfluous list of “parts” which don’t correlate to anything useful. From what I can tell, Apple audio books do not contain a table of contents and everyone already knows this and nobody thinks it’s unacceptable. I had to buy the digital book as well so I can search it for terms stated in the audio book so I can find where in the book I am.

Tell me I am dumb, and the TOC is a click away. I realize it’s unnecessary for certain novels etc. But I’m talking about what is practically a textbook. Am I the only one trying to study and learn stuff? No TOC makes it hysterically difficult.

Yeah same here. I downloaded a language audiobook and its supposed to have additional content as a pdf. The book page in the store says it can be found in the table of contents after downloading. There's no Table of Contents. Only a list of track numbers. It's stupid. I went to their website and it's a whole different language learning program that doesn't seem to be related to the audiobook.

I thought Apple vetted these things?
