SMS Autofill stopped working

Not sure when it happened but I've noticed before the latest IOS 17.2.1 update that my iMac Sonoma 14.2.1 stopped populating webpages when I received a SMS code. The work around is to open the text, copy the code and manually delete the text; which I thought had been a new feature in Sonoma prior to December. I've combed through both my iPad and iPhone settings and I don't see what is wrong. Ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and Happy New Year ya'll.

I thought I had it figured out. Cleared history and turned off Safari AutoFill. But it continues to rear its ugly head. The last Sonoma 14.3.1 update helped some of the websites but my more active sites continue to try to fill in a 2FA field with my contact phone numbers. It looks more like a Safari problem. It's beyond me to figure it out. Any other ideas? Thanks.
