Safari under Sonoma 14.2.1 is stuck with spinning beachball

When going to some web pages, or even going to SETTINGS instantly goes to spinning beach ball ... this started after upgrading from 14.1 to 14.2 and continues with 14.2.1 -- Does anyone know a "fix" or cause, or when is Apple going to admit there's a problem and fix it?

Had a long "chat" with apple -- suggested bringing SAFARI up in safe mode (hold shift key while double clicking SAFARI) worked for a while then back to beach ball. The behavior is intermittent, have been on website scrolling down then near bottom, spinning beach ball.

Apple has a problem with 14.2 and 14.2.1 but I don't see any feedback from Apple about solving. Apple chat has made of note of it, but let's see how long for Apple to acknowledge problem and fix (Maybe 14.3 ?)

I have the same issue. After updating to MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 my Safari browser freezes with a spinning beach ball every few minutes. When kill the browser and restart it, it works for a few minutes before freezing again. This renders the Safari browser unusable. I had to switch to Chrome to be able to surf the web.

Hardware is a 2022 Mac Studio with M1 Max Processor.
