Double tap doesn’t exist on my series 9 watch

I got a new series 9 Apple Watch for Christmas, and not only does double tap not work, it doesn’t even have Gestures in the settings on the watch. On the watch app on my phone, it has gestures in settings, but it only contains cover to mute. Any ideas?

Mute Apple Watch when Phone is muted I am trying to get my watch to mute when I flick the switch to mute on my iPhone. I saw an old forum post that said how to do it, but the setting it mentioned is my in the Watch app anymore. I'd love some direction on how to get this set up. I’m really getting tired of muting my phone to take a nap, only for my wrist to keep blowing up.
