Car Accident Detection

My mom has a 2019 Nissan Murano. Even though has its own built-in accident detection/emergency service that’s provided by Nissan it isn’t able to do share any medical info or alert emergency contacts. Does iphone or Apple Watch able to detect car accidents and call 911?

Crash Detection! Awesome Feature! I wanted to reach out and thank Apple for life saving technology. In Late November my son and I were in a terrible car crash and my crash detection went off. It call 911, my emergency contacts just like it was suppose to. EMS and Police were on site within 10 mins, which is great for a rural area. I have been recommending iWatch to everyone I know after my experience. More than a watch, a life saver!

emergency number is there a way to set the emergency number the watch will call in a fall or wreck to something other than 911? my wife falls some times but we don't ever need the ambulance. if I know I can be there in 5 minutes

Many iPhone and Apple Watch models have this capability.
