iCloud Drive taking too much iphone space

Half of my iPhone 13 pro max used storage is iCloud drives most recently used files? How can I managed so that iCloud drive synced content does not use up that much space.

I don´t wnat to delete content from iCloud. I just do not want it synced to my iPhone.

Removing files from iPad but not icloud If I go to Storage on my iPad I can see there are about 6gb of files in icloud and a similar amount in Files. I’ve got about 5gb in total left in iPad storage on my 64gb device so I’d like to get these files off my iPad but not delete in the icloud (I’ve got 34gb spare on icloud so this is not the problem). All similar searches lead to how to reduce total icloud storage. This isn’t what I’m trying to do. Thank you

iCloud Drive using a lot of storage on iPhone Hello, so my iPhone storage is basically full because iCloud Drive keep using an stupid amount of storage... On my account i have about 2,56gb of files on iCloud Drive and a total of 246,5gb total ocupied on my iCloud (Backups, Photos, Family Sharing, files, etc). How can i prevent this? It´s really anoying.

Did you try to delete some pictures and videos that you don’t want anymore?
