When I draw on a photo through the built-in "markup" tool, the application stops and a dark background and a download icon appears instead of the photo.

Hello. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. After updating to iOS 17, when I try to draw on a photo through the standard "markup" application, after drawing a few strokes (approximately 20-30 strokes), a dark background appears instead of the photo and a download icon is displayed. When I press the "done" button, nothing happens. It is not possible to save the result with this error. You have to restart the application to start editing again and save the result from time to time. If you save the result and exit the "markup" mode, the error does not appear.

The feeling that the error appears due to a lack of RAM. On the old iOS 16, with the same photo editing, there was no such error

I suspect that the problem is not so massive, because this functionality is used by a minimum number of users, and for this reason Apple uses a small amount of resources to solve this problem.

Therefore before you can edit an image the full sized version must be downloaded from the iCloud Library.

Maybe I didn't explain it correctly because I use a translator. I have no problem to start editing the photo. The problem that is depicted in the screenshot in my first post occurs when I'm already editing a photo and drawing a few lines in the photo. Now I'll try to record the screen and send it so you can watch it.
