On both my iPad and iPhone I’ve followed the steps to remove WhatsApp data through ‘manage your data’ and by toggling off ‘apps using iCloud’ but both devices are still showing that there’s a chunk of data. What can I do to remove this data as I’m running out of iCloud storage!
iPad Air 2, iPadOS 13
go to settings click your Apple ID
go to iCloud
then manage account storage
then click WhatsApp and click delete data from iCloud
I think it might work
That’s what I did, and it didn’t work. I clicked ‘confirm delete’ and then ‘permanently delete’ but it’s still showing. I first thought it might be an issue with my iPad but exactly the same thing happens on my iPhone too. Any assistance much appreciated!
