I bought an Apple gift card but it wasn't activated

I bought a $100 gift card and it says that it wasn’t activated at the store. Could you please help me?

If the store took your $100 and gave you the card back without activating it, then you will need to resolve the problem with the store. Normally when you purchase a Gift Card you will get a purchase receipt along with the Activation Receipt. You most likely only have the purchase receipt and will need to provide that to the store to resolve the issue.

Nobody here can help with this. Contact the store and request activation. You may need your purchase receipt.

If it was never activated, you should contact the retailer. When activating a gift card you should have received a receipt showing the activation number. If it was never activated and you did not get a receipt, then the clerk could have easily just taken your money and gave you the card back. Most retailers have cameras over the registers to monitor the actions of their associates.

You'd better hope it doesn’t get activated now, or the money may well get spent by somebody else.

Contact Walmart, and discuss the activation and also the gift card compromise here with them.
