Viruses Detected message - a scam?

I'm repeatedly getting message BROWSER INFECTED. ATTENTION. VIRUSES FOUND. I have Malware Bytes anti virus software. scan reported no viruses detected. How can I get rid of this message and also confirm its a scam?
