CarPlay issues since iOS 17

Ever since the update to ios 17, CarPlay is completely disruptive to the operation of the MyLink infotainment system in my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. Using CarPlay which is required to be through a wired connection on this vehicle. When I connect to CarPlay on my iPhone 13 Pro, it causes the infotainment system in the vehicle to continuously restart. I have tried resetting connections, restarting vehicle and iPhone and every other suggestion I can find on the help / community boards. I had far fewer issues on iOS 16. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated…even confirmation that others are experiencing the same.
