MacBook Pro date and time is incorrect

My MacBook Pro is showing the date as 9th September and will not allow me to change it. So I can’t get onto many of the web pages I use

M1 Pro (14 inch) MacBook Pro displaying incorrect date and time. Haven't really done any installations or uninstallations in the last 2 months other than updating the OS to macOS 14.1.1 (Sonoma) on 16-11-23. The issue was observed for the first time around a week ago. I have only tried restarting the Mac a couple of times which didn't fix the issue. Running the device by setting the time manually for now, but need it reverted to automatic. TIA for the help.
