I have an iphone 13. Previous to know, callers could leave a 3 minute voicemail. For whatever reason, that has now changed to 2 minutes (1:57 to be precise).
Why did this happen, and is there anyway to correct it? Our service is Verizon. I have shut off and restarted, deleted most of my stored voicemails, gone to airplane mode and back, etc.

Verizon controls everything that has to do with your phone service.....making calls, receiving calls, voice mail, etc.
Please contact Verizon Support to ask them about any voicemail changes that they have made to their service.

As already mentioned twice, voicemail is controlled by your carrier. Contact them for help.

The phone itself doesn't store the voicemail, it simply plays them back from your carriers servers. Therefore, it has no way of controlling the length of the voicemail.
You can beleive what you want but you would be incorrect.
The duration of a voicemail received on my iPhone has decreased to only two minutes whereas it used to be three minutes. How can I get back to three minutes? People calling me need to call back a second time to leave a complete voicemail.
I don't believe that's accurate. I have tmobile...mine recently did the same thing. 3 minutes down to 1 min and a few seconds.
How could every carrier all of sudden decide to change everyones voicemail down???

I tried Verizon. They could not fix despite trying a few different things.
I'm looking at an upgraded phone here in next month or two.
