The Apple Support always stops responding after a while

It is a recurring theme of my attempts to solve an issue with Apple support: I contact them, they tell me that they need time to do some research and that they will get back to me, and sometimes they do get back to me, but other times they don't. Replying to the email with their contact information that they sent me doesn't always help. At some point I learned that after 30 days or so a case is automatically closed if there's no more activity, but even if I reply before those 30 days elapse, I often don't get a reply. Eventually, for most support cases I open I stop hearing from the support agent before they can give me a definitive answer.

What can I do to avoid opening the same cases over and over? The fact that the Apple support is designed in such a way that the support agents cannot talk to each other and figure out why they eventually stop responding is quite frustrating. Does this happen to anybody else?

From my side I could say that Apple Support even doesn’t bother themselves to respond me something else but “thank you for contacting us”. Three requests just hanged in the void. And I don’t understand what is the problem.

I completely agree. I have 2 complaints for a HomeKit issue which is affecting my watch and phone.

Officially its been 6 months since i raised a complaint. started following up. But no proper response.

i was hoping there would be some escalation matrix, but no luck there either.

I am actively trying to wean myself of their ecosystem.

sorry to be bearer of bad news: Learn to live with your problem.
