I have a iPhone 15 plus, last night I was on it till about 10pm and everything was perfect. It had an update that night (17.2) and I in the morning the whole screen was unresponsive to my touch. the display worked and all the battens but not the touch. I tried all the home fixes but none worked. I'm gonna go to apple tomorrow to see if they can fix it.
Before going to your Apple Store tomorrow, try a "forced" restart of your device using these instructions: Put it on charge for at least half an hour, then, keeping it plugged in, use these gestures:
In rapid sequence, press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side (power) button. Only when the Apple logo appears (it might take 10-20 seconds), release that button (ignore all other screens that might appear, the one with the "slider" to turn the device off included).
If the issue persists, then yes, have your device inspected.
