iCloud Drive upload on macOS Sonoma is stuck for a number of unknown files

On my (Intel) iMac with latest macOS, Finder says that it is uploading 726 items to iCloud Drive. Just some few megabytes missing, it says. But that never goes away. Not even rebooting helps. And it persists over macOS updates even. (Was the same before the update to 14.2.) Some month ago is was 201 items, not sure when it grew to 726.


How can I find out what "items" it is uploading, and whether they truly are out of sync or not. And if yes, get them to finally sync then.
