Hey all, I’m looking for an app that is basically an image viewer. Something like Plex or Photos. I’d use one of those but I want this instance to be completely separate from the others.
I basically just want a way to easily flip through and organize images, no editing necessary. The file viewer just isn’t doing it for me.
I’d also like the ability to add a password but that’s not a must. Any pointers would be appreciated!

I use Pheonix Slides it's free, tho out of the box it come with "fullscreen" preview, but that can be changed in settings. If you give it access to full disk it's going to work flawlessly. Going through images with arrows, if you want to delete you CMD+backspace.
Quicklook is on your Mac already. Open a folder of images. Click on the first one. Tap the space bar. Move to the next with the arrow keys.
No image viewer will have password protection. For that you need database, and then you're beyond an image viewer. What you can do is put your images on an encrypted disk image and use Quicklook or any other viewer you prefer.
Perhaps you need to re-read my first paragraph above. Is it not clear? Select a file in a folder of images. (That's click on it once) and then tap the space bar. There is no scrolling. Move through the folder using the arrow keys.
It doesn’t give me an option to open with Quick Look. Only with Preview which will only show one image at a time. I can’t scroll through a folder of images.
