Low Audio Problems on MacBook M1 Pro Sonoma

Has anyone experience low volume of your built in speakers when it’s up to full max? I have this problem right now and I tried a lot of methods to try and fix it. I’ve tried force quitting the core audio, resetting the mac, updating to the latest software and other methods but none of them seem to work.

I notice the problem when I’m watching videos on YouTube on FireFox and thought it was the browser itself so I tried to delete the cache and cookies from it, and still doesn’t work. I hopped on Safari to see if the audio is low too, and it is.

MacBook nowadays is really weird, and I’ve been a MacBook user since last decade, and this is maybe the first I experience this problem for the low audio.

Troubleshooting Volume Issues:

Boot in Safe Mode:

In Safe ModeLogin Items do not run at login, certain preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are then reset. So, once booted in to Safe Mode, wait 30 seconds, and then boot up normally, seeing if this no longer occurs. For instructions, go here: How to Use Safe Mode on your Mac - Apple Support
