Integration Issues Between Apple Music and iTunes Match Libraries
I have been a satisfied user of iTunes Match and appreciated the ability to access my entire music library seamlessly across my devices. Recently, I decided to enhance my experience by subscribing to Apple Music. However, I've encountered an unexpected issue: not all of my songs from iTunes Match have been successfully uploaded to my Apple Music library.
It appears that certain tracks, possibly ones that are not available in the Apple Music catalog, are not being uploaded and are therefore inaccessible through Apple Music. This is perplexing because these same tracks were previously available to me when using iTunes Match alone.
After speaking with an apple representative in-store I was reassured Apple Music alone would solve this issue. Could someone please clarify if Apple Music restricts the upload of certain songs that might be considered ineligible? If this is the case, is maintaining both an iTunes Match and an Apple Music subscription the recommended solution to ensure full access to my music library? Are there any alternatives so I don't have to pay for both services?
Any guidance on resolving this discrepancy would be greatly appreciated.
