Xbox controller not working with Safari but works with Chrome on Macbook Air M2

My xbox controller is connected via bluetooth on macbook and works fine on chrome, but doesn’t work at all on safari, any solution to this??

MacOS Ventura + Xbox Controller My wireless controller does not work on the Steam game, Borderlands 2, though I can use the controller on steam big picture. Have you experienced this problem? What can I do to solve this? I have successfully paired the controllers and it's shown on the controller's option in my settings.

8BitDo Ultimate 2.4G Wireless Controller vs macOS 13.6.1 Hello everyone, few days ago I bought the 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4G Wireless Controller. It works with an iPhone 13 and iOS 16, but on my MacBook Pro M1 with macOS 13.6.1 it doesn't work. The controller has the latest firmware, I can pair it with the MacBook via bluetooth, but the "Game controller" section in "System Settings" is missing. So, I searched "Game Controllers" in Spotlight, and it lists Game Controllers in system settings, but when I click on it, this pop-up message appears "You can’t open the Game Controllers settings pane because it is not available to you at this time." I've followed all the guides I found on the internet to solve the issue, but none of them have worked. This 8BitDo controller is officially supported by Apple from macOS 13.2 Thank you in advance.

Same issue here. In Firefox it works fine, but I can't get it to work in Safari. It worked fine a few months ago, so this seems to be a recent issue.
