Blurry picture of me at Zoom meetings

Since the last operating system upgrade, when I go to a Zoom meeting using my Macbook Air, my picture is blurry, while everyone else is fine. Any suggestions?

So is your picture preview on zoom blurry, or is your picture as reported by others on the meeting blury?

When you quit Zoom and only open the Photobooth App, is your picture crystal clear?

If both the pictures are blury on the first question, and not on the second, it speaks something about your internet connectivity. WiFi internet connectivity can really cut down on your bandwidth upstream to the internet, and be much lower than if connected directly via ethernet to the modem.

If Photobooth is blury, you may need to take a clean dry lens cloth and gently rub the camera and see if that makes a difference. If it does not, then something may have inadvertently masked the lens on your camera. Logitech makes some really good external clipon cameras. Make sure you get one that is rated for your Mac OS on the Logitech website.
