strobe light effect of lines on screen
Experiencing sudden and repeated rapid stone light effect of plaid like lines on the screen. Anyone have the cause and solution?
This seems like a hardware issue to me.
First, to rule out software issues, boot your Mac in the safe mode
Start up your Intel-based Mac in safe mode
- Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key until you see the login window.
- Log in to your Mac.
- You might be asked to log in again.
- On either the first or second login window, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.
If the issue is not persisting in safe mode, it is caused by an external piece of software, you might want to evaluate the software installed to your Mac.
