Are loved songs converted into Favorites on the new Apple Music update

I like the new feature to make songs “favorite” instead of just clicking the love button. However, what happens to all the songs I “loved” as I listened — does this mean I have to start all over?

Does the new Favorite button really force me to sync music? It appears that the new "Favorite" button (replaces the "Love" button) will FORCE me to sync my library across ALL my devices. Is that really true? I have different music libraries on different devices for a reason. Is there any way to turn this off, so it operates like the old Love functionality? I do want to flag songs I like, but don't want to sync my library. And now that we apparently have three unique rating systems (Stars, Loves, and Favorites), how is the "Favorites" mix culled? Does it pull all Favorites, 5-Stars, and Loves? And will the Discovery station still pull unloved items from albums where I've start other songs?

Apple Music not removing liked songs Sometimes when I love or dislike (the feature) a song, after a few seconds it'll go back to whatever it was no matter how many times I love/dislike the song. Or if I open apple music again i'll find the song that i liked is unliked or vice versa. how do I fix this?

All of your loved songs are just converted into Favorites.
