Blurred contact photos when receiving phone calls

Why are my contact photos blurred when I receive phone calls and how do I change this? Now I’m forced to find this super small block with the contact name instead of seeing a huge photo of their face (that I carefully chose) covering my phone. What is the point of assigned photos to contacts? Why does Apple hate me and choose to ruin my life, one update at a time!?

It doesn't work at all or after a certain period it reverts back? You need to do this for all contacts on your email client server. It is tedious.

Contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you have Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo, or any Other

  1. How many contact accounts (email client-server) do you have?
  2. What is your default Contacts Account?
  3. Which email account you are using to store Contacts?
  4. See the GIF below for Contacts and Default Account

You need to do this for each and every contact. The process initially may seem weird but works well.

  1. Open a contact
  2. Click Edit
  3. Click Edit below the Picture
  4. Select Edit Photo
  5. Move the Circle around the image (just move randomly, a bit)
  6. Choose Photo
  7. Click Done
  8. Next time you receive a call from this contact, it will be full screen!!!!
