I am fuming about the change of now having to press the side button instead of swiping up for the Apple Watch control center. It is a much slower function, requiring 2 movements, when you are in a split second hurry and need to ping your phone. Can this manually be changed back on my watch? Stop changing things that don’t need to be, just to say something is different. Seriously irate.

I do not work for Apple. But I am sure Apple would not make this change unless a lot of users complained about the way it was (probably inadvertently making a swiping motion with a loose sleeve perhaps). That being said, perhaps Apple could make this a user selectable option. You can make that or a similar suggestion using this link:

I’m not happy with this change either. Reported my dissatisfaction to Apple.
Swiping is much easier and follows the same intuitive process as swiping on my iPhone.
