Is Apple Care+ worth it for AirPods Pro(2nd gen)?

Hi, I’m thinking to buy my first pair of AirPods hence wondering if it’s actually worth buying the Apple care with it too or not. Like what kind of difficulties or problems people face that makes Apple care+ worth it. This is my first time buying AirPods hence wondering if there is anything I should know beforehand or things to avoid doing. Any advice or suggestion is appreciated!

Also is this 😎👻👽 cool thing to engrave or should I opt for a Memoji?

Apple Care+ is only a fraction of the cost of the AirPods themselves, so it is a nice option to have. Just be aware that some services will include an additional service charge.

I have the first gen AirPods Pro, I do not have Apple Care+ and I have not had any issues. I think the biggest thing to consider is Apple Care+ has coverage on accidental damage, so if you think there is a chance you’ll drop them hard/ break them or accidentally drop them in water, then consider buying it.

I will say they are fairly durable, I’ve definitely dropped mine a few times and so far no issues. They are not rated as waterproof but are water resistant. Battery life is still good and I’ve had them 1.5 years.

In short I don’t think they’re super easy to damage if you’re careful.

I think that is hilarious to engrave so yes do it, keep in mind engraved products cannot be exchanged in stores.
