Closing down open apps.

Before the update, to close down open apps I clicked once on the side button. Then swiped the apps to close. This has been replaced with the functions if you normally swiped upwards I.e. battery life. Airplane mode. Am I right these functions have been swooped over?

they changed it so you double-click the crown to get the running app list

of cause you can also just restart the watch that would stop all running apps
