Apple tv remote - The mute button (lower left) doesn’t work. How can I fix that?

You cannot restart the remote however you can ensure it has adequate charge. Once you have verified the remote has a 100% charge please unplug the Apple TV from power for 2-3 minutes, re-plug in and then test your remote.

Location of mute is for left hand use? Hold iPhone in right hand to talk to call. Gets muted by my right cheek 9 out of 10 times. Please relocate mute to better location. Recommend bottom middle.

Thanks. I've done as you suggested. The issue is some days it works. Some days it doesn't. I never know when the mute is going to work and when it won't.
