Deleting Home Screen Bookmark

I've transferred two bookmarks from my previous iPhone to my home screen (iPhone 14, iOS 17.1.1). However, when I press and hold, the option to delete the bookmark icon is missing. I'm only presented with choices to Edit Home Screen or Share Bookmark. Additionally, I can't find the associated apps for these bookmarks in my settings. Any insights into what might be happening?
