Contact Apple Support : ****

I called the number and was instructed to download connect wise app on my phone. I did this and it allowed the "support technician" to view my screen. I was asked to check my accounts for any suspicious activity. I didn't see anything and she then asked me to accept a call from a secure line and she would transfer me to my bank headquarters. I was transferred then asked by automated prompt to enter my SSN, account number, or card number. I entered my SSN then was connected to an "agent" who I explained that my devices & IP address had been hacked, etc...He said that someone had went to coinbase.com to initiate a transaction from my bank account that would empty out the balance. He instructed me to go to my bank and withdraw the funds to put into a digital locker to protect my money from being withdrawn from my bank account. He said I needed to do this immediately before the transaction posted to my account. I went to my bank and told them the situation. They said it was definitely a scam. We changed my User ID and Password.

I uninstalled the connect wise app from my phone. However I'm concerned that the hackers still have access to my camera and information on my phone. I use Face ID for most of my apps, including my bank account app. I called the real Apple Support line and the agent had me use Safety Check to see if there were any suspicious apps on my phone. Nothing there. We changed my Apple ID password.

I want to know if there are suggestions regarding my phone being compromised in anyway.

I'm worried that the hackers can see things that I do on my phone and use my camera to allow them access to anything that requires FaceID.

Please Help

The best thing you can do is use a computer to restore the iPhone to factory settings. This will erase the phone and remove all software and install a new copy of the iOS to ensure nothing suspicious is left on the phone.

This also means you cannot restore an iCloud or iTunes back afterwards, but you are OK to use other iCloud features like Photos and Notes since they are separate from a backup.
