There is virus in my Macbook pro

There is a virus called Pipidae in my MacBook Pro, and every time it pops up, it says that the virus will damage your MacBook and that you should throw it away, so I do, but it keeps popping up again and again. What should I do?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.5

It is not a virus. A virus is capable of self replicating and moving from system to system without human intervention.

There are no known viruses in the wild that can infect macOS.

It is malware. You were conned into installing it. It can't happen without your cooperation.

You can use the free malware bytes to isolate and remove it.
