Macbook Pro M3 24GB memory or M3Pro 18GB memory?

I'm planning to upgrade to a MacBook Pro M3 soon. I'd like Adobe Lightroom Classic to run smoothly on this machine: so snappy when scrolling through photo's and applying edits without delay. That's the main thing. I don't mind if exporting photo's takes a bit longer.

What specs would be best to achieve this goal? Basic M3 with 24GB memory and 1TB SSD, or the M3Pro 18GB memory and 1TB SSD? Both setups are around the same price and also at the max I'm willing to spend. I'm really at a loss what the best choice would be. I appreciate any suggestion/advice, thanks!

I'd say go with the 24GB and Basic M3.

Don't think Lightroom will tax the regular M3 enough to warrant the M3 Pro, and the extra memory will let you have more photos in ram aiding smoother scrolling and editing.
