Reminders not syncing to iCloud after Sonoma update

MacBook Air, 13", 2019, just updated to Sonoma.

Reminders on the Mac have stopped syncing to iCloud.

Syncing between iCloud, iPhone and iPad seems to be fine, it's just the Mac.

I can force my Mac to sync by going to Settings/iCloud, switching off Reminders, restarting the Mac, then switching Reminders back on again, but that's a one time fix.

Can anyone come up with a more longterm solution?

Reminders in macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 is slow Reminders is syncing between my Mac, iPhone and iPad using iCloud, and on the Mac it is crazy slow. On launch it might take a minute before it shows current state, whereas phone and tablet are immediate. Updating status of a reminder (toggle doneness) makes it think a long time, changing view between Today, Scheduled, All, etc., causes long pause, etc. Something seems broken. If it was possible I'd remove and reinstall it, but I don't think it is. I've turned off then back on iCloud to get a fresh sync, which doesn't make a difference afterwards. Any advice is appreciated. I have 125 reminders, which seems like a small amount re syncing. Apple M1 Max, running Sonoma 14.1.1.

Reminders on iMac won't sync with iCloud 2019 Retina iMac 4K, 21.5”, macOC 12.4 Monterey Some background: A few months ago I had to wipe and reformat my Mac’s HD because of a split fusion drive. The reformat went smoothly, the fusion drive was restored, and I restored everything from a Time Machine backup. Everything is working great except that the Reminders app on the Mac won’t sync with iCloud. I’ve tried everything I can find online, including Apple’s support website, to no avail. Nothing has gotten Reminders to sync. Details: The Reminders window is completely blank. The only option available on the sidebar is to Add List. Reminders is syncing just fine with iCloud on my MacBook, my iPhone, and my iPad…it’s only on the iMac that they won’t sync. I’m signed in with the same Apple ID on all four. Every other app on the Mac that is able to sync with iCloud is syncing just fine (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Photos, Notes, Pages, Numbers). It is only Reminders that refuses to sync. I’ve tried the obvious: unchecking Reminders and Calendars in System Preferences -> iCloud, restarting the Mac, re-checking Reminders and Calendars in System Preferences. I’ve tried everything on this Support page. I've deleted all completed reminders (because someone on another forum said this fixed their syncing problem.) This proved to be no help. I even tried completely signing out of Apple ID on the Mac (System Preferences -> Apple ID -> Overview -> Sign Out). Besides being a tremendous PITA waiting for all the other apps to re-sync, this did nothing to fix the Reminders syncing problem. I’m stumped. I’m hoping someone can point to a corrupted snippet of software someplace that might be preventing Reminders from syncing.

Reminders on Ventura do not show iCal/Exchange ToDo items I updated my Mac mini (M1) and MacBook Pro (Intel) to Ventura (13.1) earlier today. An immediate problem is that iCal / Exchange reminders do not sync properly. (They appear to work fine on iOS/iPadOS, but not on the desktop or laptop) It appears that Ventura is not synchronising correctly in both directions. Here is a list of anomalies that I have found: The default Tasks list in Exchange and Google accounts does not show up on Ventura's Reminders app. Creating new lists on Ventura for Exchange or Google show up on iOS/iPadOS but not on the opposite Ventura machine's app Any changes made on iOS/iPadOS (new lists or items, and checking items as complete) reflect on other iOS/iPadOS devices, but not on either machines' Ventura apps Hopefully Apple will correct this issue soon. I rely on Exchange and Gmail for work and I need a consolidated view of all reminders across these accounts and iCloud on a daily basis. Has anyone else noticed thsi issue? Has anyone successfully worked around it? (I have tried force sync of calendars but this has no effect)
