Bluetooth audio cuts out consistently
Since updating my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 17 I have had issues with my Bluetooth audio connectivity.
Before updating, I was able to connect to my Subaru Bluetooth with no issues.
After updating, I would have to select my Subaru within the audio app (Spotify, Amazon music, Patreon) in order for it to actually play the audio on my car speakers.
Additionally, every 3-5 minute the audio will cut out for 5-20 seconds. This happens consistently when I’m connected to my car. It happens less frequently when connected to my AirPods, but will still happen every 10 minutes or so.
The first time I contacted Apple I was told it was because I had the iOS 17 beta and once I removed it, the issue would be resolved. So I removed the beta but continued to have the issue.
Next time I contacted apple support they had me reset my network settings. Of course when the support person called me back to ensure it was working, there were no issues. The next day however, in my 10 minute drive to work, it cut out 4 times. I couldn’t make it through one song without the audio cutting out.
Again, I contacted apple support and they set up a call for the next day but support never called.
Has anyone experienced this and found a resolution to the issue?
