I sent Apple Pay to wrong person

Here is the guide for disputing the transaction:

Cancel or dispute a payment 

1. Open the Messages app, then open the conversation and tap the payment.
2. Your Apple Cash card will open in the Wallet app. Under Latest Transactions, tap the payment, then tap it again.
3. Tap Cancel Payment.

If you don't see Cancel Payment, the person has already accepted the payment. Try asking the recipient to send the money back to you instead.

Depending on your bank or card issuer, it might take 1-5 business days for the money to be refunded. 

Apple Cash person-to-person payments are like any other private transaction between two people, so only send and receive money with people you know. If you have questions or concerns about a transaction, please contact us.

You can cancel the payment if they have not accepted it. If they did, ask them for your money back. These options as well as a link to contact Apple are in the following Support Article. There is no guarantee Apple will be able to help as they also note that sending Cash is like any other private transaction between 2 people, so make sure you know who you are sending the money to.

All that you can do is to ask for the funds back.

See the earlier posts. If the funds haven’t been accepted, you can cancel. Otherwise, you’ll need to ask the other person to return the funds.
