Apple is so good at assisting with hearing aid, software tweaks. It seems as if this is something that could be worked out.
I too would love this feature. I’ve just started using a BAHA which is MFI but it’s all or nothing. I can either stream to my BAHA or hear sound through AirPods. I can’t work out how to stream to both at the same time. I do hope this is possible.

I suffer from single sided deafness, and wear a hearing aid in one ear. I would like to be able to use an AirPod in the other ear and link to devices at the same time so I can hear out of both ears. I am unable to pair my hearing aid along with airpo
