Perhaps I misunderstood your original post and that has led to miscommunication.
I thought that "Bose soundbar dedicated to Apple iPods" meant that your iPod was physically connected by sitting on a Dock connector on the Bose and that your Wi-Fi issue was a separate and unrelated issue.
First, you need to determine how the iPod communicates with the Bose dock, because if it is sitting on the dock, the Wi-Fi issue is not related to the Bose:
- how does the iPod communicate with the Bose? Is it by sitting on the dock or is it by Wi-Fi?
- the (i) will only be visible if the iPod is connected to a Wi-Fi network. That does not mean that the connection works. If there is a network shown under the current Wi-Fi connection, there will be an option somewhere, to forget it (which is what I've suggested). However, if the iPod is not connected to any network that list will be empty. More important is to find the network that you want to connect to. If it's not on the current Wi-Fi list, then it should be under the CHOOSE NETWORK option. If not, check that your router is in "been seen" mode
- If the iPod communicates with the Bose via your Wi-Fi, I suggest that you read the instructions for the Bose to find out how to set it up
