Cannot restore backup

I am trying to upgrade from my iphone 13P to an iphone 15P. I have a good backup as of 1:48CST. The new iPhone15P will show: "Restore from iCloud" "Time remaining estimating..." and this will show for about 10-15 minutes with no progress on the progress bar. It will then error out. I have good cellular and wifi network.

Did you try to restore the iphone connecting to a Mac or a PC/iTunes?

This is helpful. Yes and that worked. It was strange because I validated both cellular and Wi-fi were connected. I guess some days we still need a hard wire. Thanks
