Deleting History from Safari:

A. Go Here: Clear the History, Cache, and Cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

B. Disable/Reenable Safari in Screen Time:

Reenabling Safari may rid of some things...

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Screen Time
3. Tap: Content & Privacy Restrictions
4. Tap: Allowed Apps
5. Tap: Safari (so that it is greyed out)
6. Tap: Safari (so this it is green)s

Deleting History from Safari:

Being greyed-out, there are 3 possible reasons:

• It is already cleared
• Screen Time is disallowing this
• Mobile Device Management is overruling this by an institution, such as a school or an employer)

Contact Apple Support:

Call Apple, via phone to troubleshoot this. I don’t recall ever coming across this issue. So, give them a call, telling them what we went over.

• Proceed from there as necessary
• Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due do lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
