Troubleshooting Adding a Method of Payment:

A. Add, then Delete.

You need at least one Method of Payment assigned to your account. This is because even free apps have their option for internal purchases. So, add the new method of payment, and then remove the one that is currently in there. Add a Payment Method to your Apple ID - Apple Support

B. If Declined: If your Payment Method is Declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

No Success?

C. For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support. You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

I had had an issue adding my Cash Card, as well. So you’re not alone.

First: you should open the Cash App App and then press your card at the bottom, if you have received your Cash Card in the mail and activated it, and Add Cash Card to Apple Wallet should appear at the top of the stack of buttons. You should press it, and then follow the steps to add it to your wallet.

If none of the steps listed have worked, contact Apple Support and Cash App Support.
