Update available on my MacBook Pro M1, but when I tried to update in the past to Ventura I had all kids of problems so had to revert back to Monterey. Has anyone had any issues specifically updating from Monterey 12.6.3 to Sonoma 14.1.1? thanks
Also if you have installed and run any "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus or VPN apps on your Mac they should be uninstalled according to the developer's instructions before upgrading. They are not needed and can only interfere with proper system and application performance, particularly with the newer systems.

FWIW, the current version of Monterey is 12.7.1. The reason the vast majority of users have problems upgrading from any version of macOS to a new version of macOS is because they have software already installed that is not 100% compatible with the new version.
I updated from Monterey to Sonoma and had no issues. Just had to get use to the new preference pane where all the settings are.
