GarageBand does not start after updat to Sonoma 14.1.1. Also midi instrument plugins don’t load.

After updating my m1 to Sonoma 14.1.1 GarageBand and midi instrument plug-ins won’t load. I have been waiting for Apple to fix this for the last 3 days.

This is so frustrating... My Yamaha keyboard (psr-ew410) was midi'd in beautifully before the update. I could easily plug in and play using the awesome sounds in garage band. After the update, when I press a key now, it triggers when I press it, then triggers again when I release it. IF IT AINT BROKE WHY FIX IT. far out

I appreciate your input, but how does this address my problem? It doesn’t even relate to it.

So I can’t push the helpful or best answer buttons.

Folks I still need a solution to my lack of garage band access.

Possibly the next update will help.

If not I will purchase Reaper or Pro Tools for my mixing.

I won’t use Logic Pro because it’s the same architecture as GB, so probably have the same problems with Sonoma updates.

Also, Apple doesn’t seem to care about my GB faults, after updates, as I haven’t gotten an answer from them in over 3 weeks.
