Facebook not displaying on Safari 12.1.2

Facebook pages are coming up blank - just the top bar and main colour, no content - on my Safari browser, starting yesterday. I have Safari 12.1.2 and cannot update it as I am also running Mac Sierra 10.12.6 and think I was told that I cannot upgrade the OS on my machine any further. It is a MacBook Pro (Late 2013).
